The Most Haunted Mile in America

Walk the dark side of Old Town Key West — hosted by the creators of the You Two Scare Me Podcast.

Key West is unlike any other place in America. Isolated at the end of a chain of islands, shaped by pirates, wreckers, yellow fever epidemics, and wars — the history here isn't just old, it's heavy.

The same qualities that make Key West a beloved destination also make it one of the most genuinely haunted locations in the country. These stories weren't manufactured for tourism. They were here long before the tour companies arrived.

Key West’s Haunted History

The Wreckers & the Dead

For centuries, Key West's economy ran on shipwrecks. Entire fortunes were built on salvage — and the bodies of those who didn't survive often stayed on the island. Many of Old Town's oldest homes were built with wealth pulled from watery graves.

Yellow Fever Epidemics

In the 1800s, yellow fever swept through Key West repeatedly, killing large portions of the population in weeks. The dead were buried quickly, sometimes in the yards of the homes where they died. Many of those homes still stand today.

Robert the Doll

Housed at the Fort East Martello Museum, Robert is arguably the most famous haunted object in the United States. Visitors from around the world have blamed him for car accidents, job losses, and unexplained illness…usually after making the mistake of mocking him.

The Artist House

The original home of Robert the Doll, this Victorian mansion at 534 Eaton Street is considered one of the most haunted private residences in Key West. Guests have reported apparitions, unexplained sounds, and objects that move on their own.

The Civil War on the Island

Key West was occupied by Union forces for the entire Civil War, despite being a Confederate state. The tension, loss, and isolation of that period left a mark on the island's buildings, cemeteries, and land that investigators still pick up on today.

The Key West Cemetery

A 19-acre cemetery in the heart of the island, the Key West Cemetery holds the remains of more than 100,000 people — in a city of only 25,000 living residents. It is one of the most visited and most paranormally active sites on the island.

Most ghost tours in Key West follow the same script. Ours don't. We're paranormal researchers and podcast hosts. We bring everything we've learned about investigation into every event we run.

A Different Kind of Ghost Tour

Hosted by the Podcast Creators

Andi and Feliz host every event themselves. You're getting the actual researchers behind You Two Scare Me, a paranormal podcast with listeners worldwide. (Over 40 countries!)

Small Group, Intimate Experience

We keep our tours small by design. No crowds, no rushing, no straining to hear over 40 people. This is an immersive experience, not a cattle drive down Duval Street.

Your Stories Are Welcome!

Have you experienced something unexplained? Our tours are a conversation, not a lecture. We create space for your encounters and invite you to share what you've seen.

Real Investigation Techniques

We don't just tell stories. We show you how to look for evidence. Each tour incorporates real paranormal investigation methods so you can experience the unknown firsthand.

Deep Historical Research

Every story we tell is researched. We go beyond the well-worn legends to uncover the layered history of the locations we visit — the parts that get left out of the standard tour.

Old Town After Dark

We explore the most historically significant and paranormally active locations in Old Town Key West — areas with centuries of recorded activity, not just a good story for tourists.

Ghost Tours in Key West, Florida

Key West is widely considered one of the most haunted cities in the United States. With over 300 years of documented history, including pirate activity, shipwrecks, yellow fever outbreaks, and Civil War occupation, the island carries a weight that visitors often feel before they're told why.

Old Town Key West is where most of the island's paranormal activity is concentrated. Locations like the Artist House, La Concha Hotel, and The Oldest House all sit within walking distance of one another, making Old Town the ideal setting for a ghost tour focused on genuine research.

Events last approximately 2.5 hours and cover short walking distances suitable for most guests.

Comfortable shoes recommended. We run rain or shine.
